To have in mind you will be working full time from home and on your own without the contact of others. To have a responsible and strict mind set up in order to balance work/life balance while working from home (good time management).
You will need an initial investment of your own (fabrics and all materials) before seeing any returns for at least I would say a year. To be prepare to do your research for tax payment and be up to date with government regulations tax wise (as you will be selling goods).
Future Progression Or Developments:
To contract someone dedicated to manage the social media, promotion and sales. To be able to rent a place where to do the work separated from home. To be able to hire personnel to do pattern cutting and sewing in bulk. To start giving sewing lessons.

My name is Silvia. We moved abroad due to my husband job 2 different times away from our country of origin. New language, new lifestyle both times. I think the second time was way harder for me as we had a baby girl and felt more difficult the fact that I would need to start our life all over again from scratch. The settling and sense of belonging in this new country took longer than I would have expected. Sewing for me was a way to escape negative thoughts conquering my mind. It made easier the process of settling, keeping my mind busy with work I enjoyed doing.
